Client Disclosure - A lá Carte

Please read this disclosure and sign and date, which indicates your understanding of it. This lays out the context through which you will get the outcome you want, and some of the elements of our professional coaching relationship. Some of these items may not apply to your coaching.

  1. What to Expect. Your professional coach holds several masters’ level certifications, among them: executive coaching and leadership, Human Resources, behavioral patterns/neuroscience, neuro-linguistics, behavioral assessments, and multiple decades of experience with progressive, modern and effective coaching methods. And, has at their disposal, a vast variety of programs, from which they choose that is best suited for your specific needs and desired outcomes. In this respect, the coaching work may be different from what you expected or have experienced in the past, because it has been shown to be the better, faster way to permanent changes and results. In total, we will not spend a lot of time talking about the problem or issues. We will gather all of the pertinent information about them and spend the majority of our time incorporating the best solution to them, which may be amongst these, but not limited to, a strategic change, a specific tactic, system, process, or a behavioral pattern change or mindset shift. Or, we may use all in combination, summing up to achieve all of your goals. Because of this, your professional coach may jump into your synopsis of the problem/issues, or even talk about it in ways that you have never considered. They may even ask questions that you haven’t been asked or considered before, which enables identification of the root issue, its origin, and ultimately, its resolution. If you have been in a coaching session before, expect that this one will be very different; it will be quite a bit quicker and completely targeted to achieving your goals.
  1. This is the process: We begin with setting the goals you want to achieve, being specific (can be personal, professional or both), measurable, actionable and time reflected. We will ask you for examples of the issues preventing goal achievement and what you’ve already tried or executed. We will quickly unpack to reveal the source of the issue – the root. Then, we will swiftly identify the link between the issues and goals and create the best strategy to change it and align with your goals. We will then capture this information in the Power Pathways Portal,TM (PPP), for coach/client reference and ongoing work and updates in subsequent sessions. This provides congruency through the work, quick and sustained progress leading to ultimate achievement of all goals and feeling of confidence and ease for you. We will use all the functions of our Power Pathways proprietary Portal and app, including creating metrics of measurement to track progress. It has been shown that seeing your own progress builds motivation for more, creating momentum and leverage. Anything can be tracked in the system and use of these will expedite your results.
  2. After the session: We will collaboratively identify action items from each coaching session, which by carrying out, will produce your desired results and goals. If we agree on them together, they are absolutely, a fundamental part of the coaching work, and you will be expected to make room for coaching work in your schedule. These actions might be stand-alone or projects with several parts and have different timelines. A full commitment to this work is required, otherwise, you can’t count on the outcomes. After the session, it is important that you stubbornly focus on what you want. The people who are the happiest over-all in life are those who recognize that you have a choice to focus on what you don’t want or do want. You can focus on negative emotions and things that make you feel bad, or you can focus on positive emotions and things that make you feel good. It is your choice. After each session, focus on what you want.
  3. Room for real-time situations will be made in each session. If something pops up in between sessions that you would like help with, please bring it up to your professional coach either via email, PPP, or at the top of the next session. You may also request an ad-hoc session for a real-time situation, which is a one-topic, 30-minute session. Ad-hocs are unlimited with your coaching engagement.
  4. This is a professional coach/client relationship, that is judgement-free and safe. We look upon this working relationship as a partnership, where our only goal and agenda is your success. Please partner with your professional coach accordingly, by utilizing open, fully transparent communication throughout the entire engagement and co-creating each session and the ensuing results.
  5. This is professional Coaching work, not therapy. Your coach is not a licensed Medical Doctor, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Counselor or Therapist. The services you receive are not licensed in this state, nor are they regulated by a governmental body. The self-regulated holistic methods and client-centered disciplines in which your professional coach is trained and in which he/she has experience, include: leading yourself and/or others effectively, creating Exponential Results through coaching and training (team, concurrent, 1:1, leadership levels, individuals), leadership development systems and programs, and consulting. We will always provide only those services in which we have been trained, and if we find that we cannot help you, we will recommend a licensed or professional who can.
  6. Confidentiality: We keep all information we receive from you, in whatever format, confidential, and do not disclose it to persons outside our company. All client information is kept strictly confidential and is for our internal use only. (Importantly, we are required in some states to share information about child abuse with state bodies who oversee such matters). This includes keeping your information confidential from the company that may be paying the services invoice. If however, we are required either by corporate working agreement or investigation to provide a professional opinion, we will do so, while preserving your specific, confidential information. You may choose to share any information from your coaching work and/or the PPP with others in your personal and professional connections.
  7. If you have done something illegal, or plan to, we must and will report it to the proper third party.
  8. If you have experienced trauma in your life, please bring it to the attention of your professional coach in the first coaching onboarding session. Trauma is defined as: the challenging emotional impact that living through a distressing event (s) can have for an individual. In other words, almost everyone has experienced trauma. Your professional coach will figure it out through the coaching work, but it is most helpful to share at the outset.
  9. If you have been diagnosed with a mental health condition and/or taking medication or being treated for such by a medical professional, please disclose this to your professional coach in the first coaching onboarding session and provide a copy of the prescription. Please also confirm that you have notified the medical professional of your decision to engage in professional coaching work, only so that lines of work delineation can be established between you and the two professionals. Furthermore, nothing that happens in our professional coaching relationship should be construed as, nor should you believe that it is a substitute for the advice of a licensed medical professional.
