I was struggling with value task assignment/prioritization, overcommitting my time, anxiety about interactions with peers and direct reports.
When my manager offered Executive Coaching, I assumed the process would help me manage my time better and bring guidance to basic areas of leadership I was uncomfortable in. I could not have been more wrong! Executive Coaching with Exponential Results helped me go deeper, identifying the patterns beneath these struggles, why they were created and how I could change them.
Karen helped me identify that time was a valued currency in my life and when I struggled the most in interactions, it was because I did not feel my time was being valued. We also narrowed in on my inability to always determine what I thought was the most valuable use of my time and that led to resentment and overcommitting in my schedule. Working through this with Karen was a lightbulb moment for me! By reframing my thought process around requests for my time and attention as well as focusing on what I found value in, I have been able to reduce my anxiety and improve interactions with my peers and feel less overwhelmed and resentful throughout my workday.
Working with Exponential Results gave me something I never experienced before; the guidance, time and space to drill down on the fundamental behaviors beneath the leadership areas I wanted to improve, enabling me to create rapid changes and elevated results beyond what I originally thought possible.
